[ Main Usage]
(a) For Food
PH adjust agent: Potassium lactate can stabilize the pH value of the product effectively, and is widely used in processing of poultry products and pasta products, as a flavoring agent, toenhance products' flavor.
Preservatives: Potassium lactate can integrate with free water of products, to lower the water activity of products effectively, and to prevent microbial growth. It can be used in the processing and storage of meat, seafood and noodle products to inhibit the corruption bacteria like Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella and E. coli bacteria and the breeding of pathogens, to improve product safety and extended products' shelf-life.
(b) For Industrial
Potassium lactate is a common tar combustion- supporting agent, is widely used in the tobacco industry.In the leather industry, Potassium lactate is used to neutralize acid from leather generated by operation or due to air pollution (So2).
