Polylactic acid is a condensation polymer of lactic acid, which is hydrolyzed into lactic acid in human tissues. Lactic acid has a complexing constant for nickel and is one of the commonly used complexing agents for electroless nickel plating. Compared with other complexing agents, lactic acid has strong stability in the plating solution, and the deposition rate can be controlled to ensure uniform and fine plating and stable plating solution. Lactic acid has the ability of synergy, and can form binary or multiple complex complexing agents with sodium citrate, malic acid, succinic acid and other complexing agents, further meeting the needs of chemical nickel plating industry for complexing agents.
